According to the journalist, Knyazev was detained by border guards in the village of Solotvino today at 16:40. He was riding in a car as a passenger.
Currently, Knyazev is in the Solotvino border service department. The purpose of his stay near the state border is being clarified and the version of a possible attempt to illegally cross the state border of Ukraine is being checked, the journalist noted.
Knyazev lost his position as head of the court after being detained by NABU in connection with receiving a bribe in May 2023. The court subsequently released him on bail of UAH 18 million.
