The reason for the increase in restrictions in the regions of Ukraine is the increase in heat electricity consumption.
On Thursday, enhanced blackout schedules will go into effect in Ukraine throughout the day. Ukrenergo reported this on Wednesday, July 10.
“From 16:00 to 23:00 the regional power companies will use four queues of shutdowns simultaneously during the remaining hours, three queues will be used,” the message said.
The company noted that the reason for tightening the restrictions is increased heat consumption.
It was previously reported that July will be the most difficult period for the Ukrainian energy system. It is at this time that nuclear power plants undergo scheduled maintenance.
In this regard, Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal announced that the duration of the outages will soon be reduced.
