The reduction in consumption in the morning after the weekend and the accumulated reserve in the system made it possible to reduce the amount of restrictions.
On Monday morning in Ukraine there will be no power outages for the population. But at night the restrictions will increase, Ukrenergo reported on July 8.
It is indicated that this morning the control center recorded consumption below the forecast level. The reduction in consumption in the morning after the weekend and the accumulated reserve in the system made it possible to reduce the amount of restrictions. And from 10:30 to 14:00, restrictions will be lifted for all regions of Ukraine.
“At night, with an increase in consumption and air temperature, the amount of restrictions is expected to increase. According to the forecast, from 19:00 to 22:00 the electricity companies in the region will apply four stages of schedules of closing at once,” the. said the message.
At other times of the day, three periods of closure will be in effect across Ukraine.
In the morning, 504 communities remained without electricity. Due to the fighting, there were new power outages in Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Sumy, Kharkov, Kherson and Chernigov regions.
For technical reasons, consumers in the regions of Volyn, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye, Ivano-Frankivsk, Sumy, and Chernihiv will be de-energized.
“The technical reasons for the outages are related to the effect of heat on high-voltage equipment and power lines, as well as the consequences of military operations in front-line regions,” said Ukrenergo .
Today, Ukraine imports electricity from Romania, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary and Moldova with a total volume of 29,844 MWh, with a maximum capacity of 1,538 MW.
The export is not in progress and is not expected.
We remind you that from July 9 to July 24, blackout schedules will be changed in Ukraine – in each region there will be no restrictions on one day for two weeks.
It was previously reported that July will be the most difficult period for the Ukrainian energy system. It is at this time that nuclear power plants undergo scheduled maintenance.
