Zelensky reported how many Ukrainians were returned from captivity

The head of state also noted that the work towards the release of all Ukrainian prisoners is ongoing.

Ukraine in total has conducted more than fifty exchanges. In particular, 3,310 Ukrainians returned from captivity. The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky announced this on Telegram

“53 exchange 3,310 of our people who are already at home in Ukraine, near their relatives,” the head of state.

According to him, work in this direction is ongoing.

“We are constantly looking for ways to free each and everyone from captivity in Russia – all our military and civilians, adults and children,” concluded Zelensky.

Let us recall that Ukraine, as part of the exchange of prisoners, gave Russia two priests of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate – Nikolai Zakroyets and Alexander Lunegov.
