During the attack of Russian UAVs on Sumy, a series of explosions was heard. The city also partially lost power supply. This was announced on Saturday, July 6, in the Suspilna Novyny Telegram.
“Explosion sounds were heard in Sumy, Suspilna correspondents reported,” the report said.
According to the Gorvodokanal utility company, all water utility facilities in Sumy have been de-energized. The city’s water supply was temporarily cut off.
“The drainage system is operational and is being switched to emergency backup power,” the utility company said.
Before this, the military warned about a group of enemy UAVs near the city of Sumy. The Armed Forces also urged residents to take shelter.
Russian aggressors attacked the village of Komar in the Volnovakha district of the Donetsk region. One village council employee was killed and 14 of his colleagues were injured.
Earlier in the day, the Russians killed two civilians in Donbass – in Toretsk and Seversky. Another 12 people were injured.
