The President of Ukraine said that during the NATO summit a document will be signed that will “support our entire architecture of security transactions.”
Ukraine will sign another security agreement during the NATO summit on July 9-11. It will be a “strong” agreement, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said in a video message posted on Facebook on Thursday, July 4.
According to him, he held a long meeting at the NATO summit. The President noted that the event should be strong for Ukraine and all partners.
He added that a meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council will take place. Currently, work is underway on new decisions and documents to be signed with partners.
Zelensky also announced good news on air defense.
“A new security agreement for Ukraine is also prepared a strong agreement that truly supports our entire architecture of security agreements.” concluded the president.
We remind you that the bilateral security agreement signed by the United States and Ukraine is not a “substitute” for its membership in NATO. The document is part of the bridge on this road.
