The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry emphasized that the only defense against enemy attacks is to directly destroy Russian bombers.
The decision to authorize the destruction of Russian bombers will still be made. Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said this in an interview with ELTA Zoom.
The official also noted the need for large and quick supplies of artillery for the Ukrainian military.
“The artillery shells are coming, but there should be more of them and faster. Regarding the decisions that will allow us to destroy the Russian bombs, they are already being prepared. Therefore, we are doing it. I am sure that the these decisions will be actionable.
According to him, the only way to protect against these attacks is to directly destroy Russian bombers.
“Therefore, we need long-range missiles capable of reaching airports or a sufficient number of air defense systems and interceptors to shoot down these aircraft as soon as this happens,” the emphasis of the Foreign Minister.
The minister added that Ukraine asks its partners to ensure that this happens as soon as possible.
We remind you that the US State Department announced that if the Russian Federation tries to expand the front, Ukraine will be allowed to fire American weapons at a greater distance.
