Donald Trump must come up with his plan to end the war as soon as possible, says the President of Ukraine.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is “potentially ready” for a meeting with the former American leader Donald Trump, who seems to know how to end the war with Russia in our country. He said this in an interview with Bloomberg, published on Wednesday, July 3.
According to Zelensky, Trump should have a plan to end the war as soon as possible. But he warned that any proposal should not violate Ukraine’s sovereignty.
“If Trump knows how to end this war, he should tell us now. If there are risks for Ukrainian independence, if we lose our state, we want to be ready for it, we want to know,” he said.
Zelensky said he is “potentially ready” to meet with Trump to hear proposals for ending the war.
“They cannot plan my life and the lives of our people and our children. We want to understand if we will have strong US support in November, or if we will remain on our own,” he added.
As you know, Trump has repeatedly stated the possibility of ending the war in Ukraine as soon as possible. And the previous day, the media reported that Trump intended to discuss Ukraine with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
