The fire occurred in the city center. 60 firefighters and 10 units of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. It seems that the fire was localized. The incident was reported by the governor of the Kursk region and local Telegram channels.
According to monitoring groups, the fire engulfed a large Russian military base stationed in the city.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian community “Kiberboroshno” claims that the 3754th central aviation technical base of the Russian Armed Forces is on fire in Kursk.
The cause of the fire remains unknown.
Let us recall that on June 25, in the Olkhovatsky district of the Voronezh region, Ukrainian drones hit a field ammunition depot of the Russian Armed Forces. A large-scale fire broke out, accompanied by explosions.
