The arena could not bear the weight of the people in the bullfight, which was held in honor of the feast of San Pedro.

In the city of El Espinal in Colombia, one of the stadium stands collapsed in a bullfight. Local authorities reported numerous casualties and injuries. About this on Sunday, June 26, El Comercio wrote.

The tragedy took place at celebrations in honor of San Pedro’s holiday. One of the crowded boxes in the bullfighting ring crashed into the arena, which was also full of people.

According to preliminary data from local journalists, at least 5 people were killed. At the same time, another publication reports at least 500 injured.

“This is just preliminary data, the number of victims could increase significantly,” the journalists wrote.

At the time of the podium collapse, angry bulls were on site. Therefore, the victims also had to be rescued from them.

A local hospital issued a yellow alert to help the injured.

According to the civil defense department of Tolima, the victims included children, women, men and even the elderly who were present at the occasion.

Remember that in India at least two spectators died after they were knocked down by bulls at the festival – “corrida”.
