The special operation for deoccupation consisted of several stages and had strategic importance, since then the gradual displacement of the enemy from the Black Sea began. The Russians occupied the island for 126 days. This was reported on June 30 by analysts of the UA War Infographics project in Telegram.
It is noted that the invaders lost almost $1 billion on the Snake equipment.
And the Security Service of Ukraine today published unique footage of Zmeiny’s dismissal on social networks. The extremely important operation was carried out by special forces of the CSO “A” together with fighters of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense and servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Let us recall that on August 12, 2023, a border sign was installed on Zmeiny Island in the Black Sea. The previous sign, which stood on the island before the full-scale Russian invasion, was brazenly destroyed by the Russian occupiers.
