In the Transcarpathian region, border guards of the Mukachevo detachment, during a covert patrol, noticed a Volkswagen minibus heading towards the border. A special response team was sent to detain the car, which stopped the vehicle. The State Border Service reported this on Facebook.
The bus contained 17 men from seven regions of Ukraine – Kyiv, Lviv, Odessa, Kharkov, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk and Transcarpathian. They all wanted to enter Hungary illegally. They paid the organizers of the illegal exit scheme from 3 to 12 thousand dollars. every.
The detainees were taken to the border unit, where they will be issued administrative protocols. Border guards are also establishing the circle of all persons involved in organizing the illegal activity.
Let us recall that on June 21, the State Bureau of Investigation documented an attempt to smuggle about 100 people across the border. In four buses that the police stopped, they found 47 men. The remaining 53 Ukrainians did not have time to reach the “collection point”. For their services, the dealers took from $5,000 to $18,500 each.
