Fire extinguishers will be distributed to residents of the border areas of the Belgorod region of Russia, since firefighters with equipment sometimes cannot go there due to the risk of getting hit.

The Governor of the Belgorod Region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, announced this today, June 28, on his Telegram channel.
In total, they plan to distribute almost 5 thousand fire extinguishers.
Lately, FPV drones have become the main threat, Gladkov noted. There are populated areas where, when private houses catch fire, it is impossible to even provide access for special equipment from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, because they will be immediately hit.
We will distribute these fire extinguishers to homes in populated areas located in close proximity along the border to enable prompt decision-making, he added.
