Viktor Orban himself approached the President of Ukraine and shook his hand. The conversation seemed quite emotional.
During the EU summit in Brussels, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban met with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky. Their conversation was short. The corresponding video was published on Thursday, June 27.
Judging by the broadcast from the meeting room, Viktor Orban himself approached the President of Ukraine and shook his hand. This happened after the signing of security agreements between Ukraine and the EU, as well as with Lithuania and Estonia.
In the video, you won’t hear what the leaders are talking about, but you can see a rather emotional conversation between Orban and Zelensky. As is known, from July 1, Hungary will take over the six-month presidency of the Council of the European Union.

Earlier, the media published 11 requests from Hungary to Ukraine. Budapest demands that all settlements in Transcarpathia be recognized as “traditionally Hungarian”, even those not yet inhabited by Hungarians.
It was also reported that Hungary is now delaying seven decisions on Ukraine in the amount of 6.6 billion euros.
