“Feijoada da Meia Noite” opens up opportunities to promote dyke art

Clippings, collages, sounds, images, videos, photographs, texts and even behind the scenes of the context of LBTs in the pandemic in Brazil today

“Feijoada da Meia Noite” is a multi-art electronic fanzine in the form of a website that creates opportunities to disseminate lesbian art. With works by artists Helen Kaliski and Jo Mistinguett, the project presents works created during the pandemic period and previously unpublished works by the girls.

Clippings, collages, sounds, images, videos, photographs, texts and even behind-the-scenes footage of the context of LBTs in the pandemic in Brazil today – a time when lesbians, bisexuals and transgender people, who are openly gay, produced art and ideas.

Artists want more space for dyke art
The launch was in April, with the electronic fanzine “Feijoada da Meia Noite – Açadogue de Pequenos Prazeres & Renúncia – A Saga”. The address is: www.feijoadameianoite.art. The fanzine also has some new actions such as live performances, videos and chats with guests.
