Ukraine does not export electricity to the European Union and will soon lift blackouts in frontline territories.

This was announced by the head of the board of NEC Ukrenergo Vladimir Kudrytsky in an interview with hromadskе.
According to him, Ukraine supports transit physical flows from one European country to another, without selling anything from its own generation.
What they say: Ukraine exports. We are being deceived. They turn off our lights, and they themselves sell electricity abroad” – this is not so. “I am very surprised to read such messages on social networks,” Kudritsky said.
For example, Romania can transport electricity through Ukraine to Hungary due to weak connections in its power grid.
Some people see, conditionally, 100 MW on the border between Ukraine and Hungary and mistakenly or deliberately write: “That means Ukraine is exporting. We are being deceived. They turn off our lights, and they sell electricity abroad.”
This is not so, says Kudritsky:
In this case, we simply transmit electricity in transit without using our own resources. This is not our export. To verify that the export is zero, you can view the special Scheduled Commercial Exchanges tab on the ENTSO-E website, where trade transactions are displayed. It shows that nothing comes from Ukraine to Europe, but Europe exports electricity to Ukraine. Thanks to this import, we can maintain a more or less stable outage situation.
For front-line territories, it is expected to identify specific areas that will not be cut off from electricity.
Kudrytsky also revealed the size of his own salary – about 420 thousand UAH per month.
According to him, the salaries of the other four members of the board of Ukrenergo range from UAH 250-300 thousand after taxes.
We are not talking about any 2 million UAH per month, which was written about in the media, and have never been talked about. My salary was set by the Supervisory Board 2020 at the time of appointment to the position. It has not changed since then,” the head of Ukrenergo emphasized.
