In particular, restrictions will apply within the Stavnenskaya, Kostrinskaya, Velikobereznyanskaya, Dubrinitsko-Malobereznyanskaya, Onokovskaya, Kholmkovskaya, Syurtovskaya and Chopskaya territorial communities of the Uzhgorod region. The Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Service of Ukraine reported this on Facebook on June 26.
It is noted that in the border strip within the district, the presence of persons and work outside populated areas is prohibited. Citizens were not allowed to be on roads that were not in the register of highways and leading to the state border. This also applies to cars and traffic on these roads at night.
It is also no longer possible to stop a car on the side of the road outside designated parking lots. The only exceptions may be technical faults.
It is prohibited to transport weapons and any active defense equipment in vehicles without the appropriate permits. In these areas, it is not permitted to use night vision devices, thermal imaging equipment, or radio stations other than those installed on special equipment and on specialized vehicles.
The use and conduct of flights of light-engine aircraft is also prohibited.
Let us recall that two residents of the Volyn region tried to illegally swim across the Western Bug River, along which the state border runs, to get to Poland. Border guards detained the violators.
