In the temporarily occupied Crimea, the Russian occupiers began to restore the former military airfield at Bagerovo near Kerch. This was reported by the Telegram channel Crimean air with reference to satellite images.

“Construction work is underway at the former military airport in Bagerovo near Kerch,” the statement said.

Construction equipment can be seen in the photos. It was noticed that the caponiers were now dug up, and the top layer of soil was removed in some places. The protective embankment of the future equipment parking lot is visible. There might be helicopters there.

The restoration of the airport runway, where since 1998 (when the military unit was dismantled), – ed..) and until 2022, the reinforced concrete slabs were stolen.
