.I trust the Ukrainian court, I will agree with any decision and will carry it out.
Thus, People’s Deputy Nikolai Tishchenko commented on his case in court on June 25.
The people’s deputy believes that “he is accused of telling the truth,” and the media are allegedly putting on a “show” about his case. When asked directly, he considers himself guilty and does not answer.
Tishchenko said in court that he “came to parliament to change the country.”
Tishchenko was also asked several times whether he really broke his phone when presenting the suspicion.
Where does the information come from that the phone is broken? Maybe this is not reliable information? – he said
People’s Deputy Tishchenko was informed of suspicion regarding the illegal imprisonment of a former military man in the Dnieper.
On June 20, 2024, in Dnipro, a group of people, on the instructions of a people’s deputy of Ukraine, unlawfully deprived the victim, a former serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, of his freedom. He was held for a certain period of time and suffered bodily harm. The investigation established that this was done by prior conspiracy by a group of people and with the use of physical force and special means, the DBI reports.
Last week, a video from Dnieper spread on social networks: in it, people in balaclavas used force against a man who was walking with a baby stroller and made a remark to a deputy accompanying him.
Subsequently, they found out that it was the security of the people’s deputy-majoritarian, expelled from the Servant of the People faction, Nikolai Tishchenko. He also appears in the video. And the man they handcuffed was Kraken veteran Dmitry Pavlov. Tishchenko himself stated on social networks that allegedly “a military man attacked the police.”
A petition was created on the Rada website with a request to deprive Tishchenko of his parliamentary powers. It states that it “substantially harms the work of parliament.”
