Before the outbreak of a full-scale war, Anton Smetsky collaborated as a choreographer with many Ukrainian artists, in particular, Irina Bilyk and Dmitry Kolyadenko.
After the start of a full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he joined the Kyiv terrorist defense, and later mobilized as a sapper in the 116th separate mechanized brigade in Zaporozhye.
During the assault on the Zaporozhye direction in September 2023, he was blown up by a minivan and suffered amputation of his leg. After undergoing prosthetics at the Superhumans center and long-term rehabilitation, he decided to return to the front.
A month ago, in the “Ukraine” palace, people gave you a standing ovation… Today we all see you off as a Hero and a great Artist! – wrote Irina Bilyk.
