He stated this in an evening video message.
Today there is a significant achievement in our movement into the European Union – we are fully implementing what we planned for this six months. The European Union has approved a negotiating framework for Ukraine – many fought for this at different levels,” Zelensky emphasized.
He noted that it is precisely this negotiating framework that determines the format and procedure for accession negotiations with Ukraine.
And next week negotiations will actually begin. These are really historical things. “Ukraine is and will always be part of a united Europe,” Zelensky added.
He also welcomed Moldova, since the negotiating framework was approved for this country as well.
And it is important that every country, every society that truly professes European values and strives for real European strength, so that every such people is together with all others in a united Europe,” Zelensky emphasized.
