This is stated in the UP investigation.
Four sources in anti-corruption agencies confirmed to us that this happened, or rather, did not happen, due to the influence of NABU director Semyon Krivonos,” noted journalist Mikhail Tkach.
The publication notes that there was a corresponding HACS resolution to search Chernyshev’s house in Kozin, but this was not done.
Tkach adds that in April 2023 Chernyshev secretly visited the NABU premises. In a comment to the journalist, the official confirmed that he met with NABU Director Semyon Krivonos, but allegedly did not discuss any investigations.
In the court’s ruling, the need to conduct searches is justified by the fact that officials of the Ministry of Regional Development during the period when the ministry was headed by Chernyshev could have been involved in the transfer of a plot to one of the developers for the construction of a residential complex.
According to the investigation, it was Chernyshev who organized the creation and signing of the order that facilitated the illegal transfer of land to the developer. We are talking about Sergei Kopistyr, owner of the KSM Group.
Last November, he was detained on suspicion of attempting to bribe Chernyshev’s successor, then Minister of Community Development Alexander Kubrakov.
In return, Kubrakov allegedly had to leave in force the agreement on the construction of a housing complex on the ministry’s land. At the court hearing, Kopistira said that his problems began after the change of leadership in the ministry.
It also follows from the UP investigation that apartments in the complex built by the developer Kopistyra were given to Chernyshev’s security guard.
By the way, after the release of the UP video, NABU Director Semyon Krivonos refused to come to the meeting of the Anti-Corruption Policy Committee.
At this meeting, they were supposed to hear information about leaks from NABU, which were reported by Binus.Info journalists.
The day before, Krivonos nevertheless began an internal investigation into the complaint of the Civil Prosecutor’s Office against his deputy Gizo Uglava. However, it was launched based on the facts of unethical behavior of Uglava, and not leaks from NABU.
