The missile and drone attack, which took place on the night of June 20, was the seventh major attack on energy facilities since March 22. The enemy was again targeting the power plant. Equipment was damaged at power facilities in Vinnytsia, Dnepropetrovsk and Donetsk regions. The Ukrenergo company reported this on Telegram.
Damage was also recorded in the networks of regional power companies in the Kyiv region.
Repair teams are already inspecting the damage, and where the security situation allows, emergency restoration work has already begun.
Ukrenergo reported that seven energy workers were injured during the attacks at two energy facilities. All were hospitalized with injuries of varying severity, and one is in serious condition.
Let us remind you that the DTEK group informed that on the night of June 20, the Russians fired at one of the thermal power plants. Three power engineers were injured, and doctors are providing all possible assistance to them. The equipment of the thermal power plant was also seriously damaged, but repair crews are working to eliminate the consequences of the attack.
