This is not a red line for Tallinn. The Estonian government hopes for a common position of the North Atlantic Alliance or the European Union. Estonian Ambassador to Ukraine Anneli Kolk stated this in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
We said we were ready to discuss this. This is not a red line for us. We hope for a common position from NATO or the European Union, and our leaders, I mean, especially the Ministry of Defense, they are discussing this, and recently they said that nothing is impossible for us,” she noted.
The diplomat also recalled that Estonia trained Ukrainian instructors on its territory.
Let us recall that in May in Poland, commenting on the possible dispatch of troops to Ukraine, they said that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin should be put in a situation where he would not know what to expect from Europe.
Also last month, the French Ministry of Defense stated that the issue of sending French instructors to Ukraine to train Ukrainian military personnel was still being worked out.
