This package includes a number of different agreements with allies for procurement, support for the Ukrainian defense industry and the acquisition of equipment to support the F-16 fighter jets. The Danish Ministry of Defense announced this on June 19.
Danish Defense Minister Trols Lund Poulsen said the government is committed to supporting Ukraine over the next 10 years through the Ukrainian defense industry, which will help Ukraine increase its production of military equipment in the short and long term.
Danish Foreign Minister Lars Lykke Rasmussen noted that Europe is experiencing a fateful moment, and with this initiative, Copenhagen “responds to the strong Ukrainian desire and strengthens both Ukrainian and European security.”
Let us recall that on June 18, Fatto Quotidiano reported that Italy plans to transfer Storm Shadow long-range missiles to Ukraine. This ammunition will be included in the ninth aid package.
