Already this year, Ukrainians who, starting from January 1, 2024, turned 18 years old, will receive a certificate in Action in the amount of 908 UAH for electronic/paper/auditory/for the visually impaired books.
The allocated money from the accounts of our youth will go to support Ukrainian publishers.
People’s Deputy Yevgenia Kravchuk suggests that young Ukrainians will receive books in the Ukrainian language of their own choice, and publishing houses, according to preliminary estimates, will be able to issue an additional 1.5-2 million copies for this money.
After clarifications in the law, subsidies will be made available to reimburse rent for store premises. The law spells out a clear procedure for providing subsidies: a list of documents (+ now it will be possible to submit duly certified copies), the deadline for consideration of applications (10 days) and the publication of results (5 days).
I note that all these things are already provided for in the budget; there will be no additional expenses from the state treasury,” Kravchuk said.
