For money, they helped evaders flee abroad, bypassing checkpoints or avoiding conscription due to forged documents. The cost of such services was up to 15 thousand euros. The amount depended on the urgency and the method of avoiding mobilization.
A repeat offender from the Chernivtsi region, who is already under investigation for organizing an illegal migration channel, was detained in Bukovina.
Then, during the investigation, the court chose a preventive measure for him, which did not include being in custody.
Taking advantage of this, the defendant continued to distribute advertisements in the messenger, where he offered help to those liable for military service in escaping to the European Union.
Then he met with his clients, drove them in his own car to the border, and then showed them forest paths in the direction of the neighboring country.
In Transcarpathia, a local resident was detained who was transporting military personnel to the European Union across the border river.
To overcome the water obstacle, the defendant laid out a route for his clients along shallows or shallow water.
On the opposite bank, the evaders were met by other participants in the criminal scheme, who helped the “new arrivals” to legalize.
In the Kharkov region, a local businessman who was selling fake certificates of deregistration from military registration was exposed.
Facts have been documented when evaders tried to mislead TCC representatives by presenting false documents issued to them to the military.
Investigations into all exposed facts are ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the crimes and bring the perpetrators to justice.
