An example of Russian aggression could be the reason for other wars of conquest on the planet, says Ursula von der Leyen.
Freezing the Russian war against Ukraine is not a solution, it is a recipe for future wars. This was announced on Saturday, June 15, by the President of the EU Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, speaking at the Peace Summit in Switzerland.
“Freezing the conflict now, when foreign armies are occupying the territory of Ukraine, is not a solution. In fact, it is a recipe for future wars of aggression,” he said.
At the same time, the President of the European Commission stressed, the allies must support “a holistic, fair and lasting peace for Ukraine.”
“One that will restore Ukrainian sovereignty, territorial integrity and the inviolability of all borders. The sovereignty of all states is at stake,” he emphasized.
The President of Poland, Andrzej Duda, in a speech at the Peace Summit in Switzerland, emphasized that the blame for the war taking place in Ukraine lies solely with Russia. However, he emphasized that Belarus is also to blame for the aggressive attack of the Russian Federation.
€1.5 billion raised from Russian fixed assets will be available in July. The money will be used to help Ukraine.
