The leaders discussed cooperation between countries, security challenges and further steps to implement the Peace Formula.
Ukrainian Head of State Vladimir Zelensky met with Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili and Chilean President Gabriel Borich at the Peace Summit in Switzerland. The OP press service reported this on Saturday, June 15.
Thus, in the meeting with Zurabishvili, bilateral cooperation and challenges for both countries were discussed.
“Thank you for your participation in the summit, it is very important for us, we are together. Georgia is in the European Union – together and forever.” , said Zelensky.
The presidents noted that there is no alternative to the path of European integration for Ukraine and Georgia.
Expectations from the Peace Summit and further steps to implement the Peace Formula were discussed with Gabriel Borich.
“It is very important for us to support Ukraine and its territorial integrity. We are here, we will continue to support your position,” the Chilean President said.
Zelensky and Borich exchanged views on the possibility of organizing a meeting on further implementation of the Peace Formula and bilateral cooperation.
The effectiveness of the visit of the Ukrainian government delegation to Chile last month was also noted.
Let’s remember that on June 14, the Swiss government announced that 100 delegations will participate in the Peace Summit, of which 92 represent states from around the world and eight represent international organizations.
And on Saturday, Vladimir Zelensky said that there were 101 participants in the Peace Summit, and today was a day of success.
