An agent of the partisan movement carried out sabotage in the Moscow region of Russia, destroying an enemy satellite communication station R-441 on July 1. The ATESH movement reported this on Telegram on Wednesday, June 12.
The equipment is located on the territory of the 584th Guards Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment (military unit 62845) in the city of Klin, Moscow Region.
According to the partisans, this satellite communication station provides communications to the strategic and operational level of command and control of the Russian army.
“As a result of the destruction of this station, the control system of the aforementioned anti-aircraft missile regiment was significantly disrupted, and, as a result, the air defense system of the entire Moscow region was weakened,” ATESH explained.
Let’s recall that earlier the partisans carried out sabotage in one of the settlements of the Smolensk region of the Russian Federation. There, the telecommunications cabinet of the communication tower was destroyed.
