As reported by the SBU, the purpose of the measures is to verify the counter-sabotage protection of state facilities, as well as to strengthen the security of residents of the capital and persons subject to state protection.
With the participation of representatives of the State Security Administration, security forces inspect territories and individual premises (rooms, offices, common areas of apartment buildings, public service establishments, etc.) to identify items prohibited for circulation.
In addition, citizens located in the government quarter are being checked.
The SBU reports that during the events there may be restrictions on passage and travel on the streets of Kyiv, document checks, and vehicle inspections.
The SBU asks citizens to be understanding of possible inconveniences and to respond properly to legal actions and demands of law enforcement officers, to have identification documents with them, and to comply with the curfew.
