The spokesman for Operations Command South added that the ship’s crew numbered several hundred sailors.
A fire broke out on the large Russian anti-submarine ship Admiral Levchenko in the Barents Sea. This was announced on June 10 by the head of the center for strategic communications of the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine, Dmitry Pletenchuk.
According to him, the fire was caused by the fact that the Russians could not independently service the ship’s engines, which were made in Nikolaev.
“10 years is not enough to solve this problem. One of the installations caught fire,” he said.
The spokesman for Operations Command South added that the ship’s crew numbered several hundred sailors.
We remind you that the Ukrainian military destroyed the Russian tugboat Saturn in Crimea. The defeat of the ship occurred after the successful collapse of the line of defensive barriers of the invaders in the waters of the Black Sea.
Earlier, the Main Intelligence Directorate destroyed two Russian KS-701 Tuna boats in Crimea using Magura V5 maritime drones, and hit two others. The enemy used these boats for logistics and patrolling the waters near Crimea.
