The Presidents of Ukraine and France, Vladimir Zelensky and Emmanuel Macron, at a meeting in Paris on June 7, signed aid agreements to restore Ukraine’s critical infrastructure. Macron announced this at a joint press conference.
According to him, the delegations of Kyiv and Paris held negotiations on the restoration of Ukraine and “decided that new tools will be created to accompany” this process.
“An agreement has been signed on a fund of 200 million euros, which is intended for businesses that will invest in the critical infrastructure of Ukraine for recovery. ” Macron announced.
Paris is also expanding the mandate of the French Development Agency to support projects in Ukraine at the local level and is sending 20 technical experts to various key ministries in Ukraine to provide technical assistance.
Earlier it was reported that during the visit of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to France, two agreements will be signed to support the main sectors of the economy and critical infrastructure with a total of 650 million euros.
