From September 1, 2024, the maximum occupancy of basic classes in state and communal institutions of general secondary education may not exceed 24 students. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
“In 2024/2025, this standard applies to all first-class students in full-time or mixed (alternating full-time and distance learning with specific frequency) formats For other classes , the maximum number of students remains 30 students. ” said the message.
It is reported that this provision of the law is intended to facilitate interaction between teachers and students and make the educational process effective due to the reduction in the number of children in the class.
“Teachers will be able to pay attention to each student and have a better connection with them,” the ministry explained.
In the past, the Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry of Digital Development presented projects for the schools of the future – without dark corners, obstacles and scoops. The ministries showed what schools will be built in Ukraine after the war.
