The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky arrived on a visit to Qatar. He announced this on Telegram on Wednesday, June 5.
“I came to Qatar for negotiations with my friend His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani Qatar is helping the return of children abducted by Russia. , and within the framework of the Peace Summit, where it is among the item on the agenda,” wrote the head of state.
According to Zelensky, Qatar actively participates in the preparations for the Peace Summit and should be one of the voices of the Middle East here for the return of people home, global food, nuclear and energy security.
“We will also discuss with His Highness the Emir of Qatar some bilateral economic and security issues,” the president added.
We remind you that Zelensky will meet with US leader Joe Biden twice in a short time. They will meet in France on June 6, and also next week in Italy at the G7 summit on June 13-15.
