Macron and Vladimir Zelensky will discuss Ukraine’s needs against the backdrop of Russia’s all-out invasion.

French President Emmanuel Macron will receive his Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelensky at the Elysee Palace on June 6, arriving to celebrate D-Day in Normandy. This was reported by AFP.

Macron and Zelensky will discuss Ukraine’s needs against the backdrop of Russia’s full-scale aggression.

“At this time, when Russian attacks are increasing every day both on the front line and in the energy infrastructure, the conversation between the two presidents will discuss the situation on the ground, as well as the needs of Ukraine,” the report said.

Earlier, the media wrote that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky will make a working visit to France.

It has also been reported that Russia has received an invitation to take part in commemorative events in Normandy to commemorate the important selfless sacrifices of the citizens of the USSR during World War II. However, the head of the Kremlin regime, Vladimir Putin, was not personally invited to the event.
