Vladimir Zelensky announced this at a press conference in Singapore.

Zelensky also compared the positions of the United States and China regarding the “peace summit.” Earlier it became known that Chinese representatives would not come to the peace conference. US President Joe Biden is also expected to miss the summit due to the election campaign.

Russia was not invited to the summit. Vladimir Zelensky said that such a decision was made due to fears that the Russian side would “block everything, disrupt everything.” According to him, the Russian Federation will be involved in the discussion when the basic principles of the agreement are developed. Russian dictator Vladimir Putin called the summit in Switzerland an attempt to impose conditions for ending the war on the Russian side.
