DTEK reported this on the morning of June 2.
Unfortunately, the difficult situation in the energy system after the Russian shelling continues. Therefore, at the direction of Ukrenergo, emergency shutdowns are applied.
Energy workers across the country are doing everything possible to stabilize the situation, DTEK reports.
On June 1, power engineers reported that on June 2, Sunday, from 1:00 to 5:00 and from 19:00 to 24:00, electricity consumption limits would apply to all consumers in all regions of the country. If they are exceeded, hourly shutdown schedules may be applied, Ukrenergo reported.
On May 30, the head of the Cabinet of Ministers, Denis Shmigal, explained why there had been no major power outages for several days.
According to the Prime Minister, at present the planned shutdown schedules are not applied, since the electricity shortage was covered by attracting solar generation and repairing two nuclear power units.
But this does not eliminate the need to systematically save electricity, he emphasized at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, warning that if a significant deficit is recorded in the system, Ukrenergo will be forced to return to the shutdown schedule.
