A difficult situation has developed in the energy system after the denuclearization of Russia. Power cuts will apply across the country, with the exception of Volyn, Transcarpathia and Lviv regions.
On Sunday, June 2, from 9:00 a.m. due to the difficult situation in the energy system in Ukraine, emergency power outages are implemented. This was reported by the press service of Ukrenergo.
It was noted that the blackout will affect industrial and household consumers throughout Ukraine except for the Volyn region, Transcarpathia and Lviv.
“The reason is the difficult situation in the energy system as a result of a new attack by the Russians on the facility of the electricity transmission system network. The consequences are being eliminated,” the company emphasized and added that the supply of electricity to critical infrastructure facilities is not limited.
Earlier, DTEK reported that emergency blackouts were in effect in Kyiv, Kyiv, Odessa, Dnepropetrovsk and Donetsk regions.
