Last night, the Poles and allies stepped up their air force, which could lead to increased noise, especially in the southeastern part of the country. The Polish Operational Command reported this on the social network X.
It was a long, busy night for the entire Polish air defense system, the Polish military admitted.
The command also noted that Polish and allied fighters returned to their home bases, as the level of threats of missile strikes had decreased. All military personnel have returned to normal operations.
The message says that the Polish army is constantly monitoring the situation on the territory of Ukraine and remains in constant readiness to ensure the security of Polish airspace.
Let us remind you that on the night of June 1, the Russians launched a massive air strike on Ukraine. During this attack, the Russians used 53 missiles of various types and 47 Shaheds. During the anti-aircraft battle, Ukrainian defenders destroyed 81 air targets.
