“This restaurant is leading in terms of attendance – for the past 10 years, it has been annually among the top five restaurants in Ukraine by the number of clients, and in 2011 it became the second establishment in the world in terms of this indicator,” the statement said.
Renovation on the restaurant is planned to be completed by November this year. In the meantime, customers can order at two McDonald’s restaurants located at South Station, just 600 and 800 meters from Vokzalnaya Square – at Sicheslavskaya Street, 6 and Georgiy Kirpy, 5a.
The company plans to update the design of the 193-seat hall, the 88-seat terrace and install 11 two-way self-service terminals. The restaurant will have an elevator to move between the first and second floors.
We remind you that after the mass invasion in Russia, McDonald’s establishments suspended operations in Ukraine. But starting September 20, 2022, McDonald’s began a phased reopening of restaurants. It was accompanied by great excitement. As of early March 2024, there were 101 McDonald’s restaurants in operation.
At the same time, the first McDonald’s restaurant in Ukraine was opened on May 24, 1997 in Kyiv. And by February 24, 2022, the chain will have 109 restaurants in 24 cities.
