This package will include weapons with a total value of 500 million euros. German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius made this statement on May 30 during his visit to Odessa. The DPA agency reported this on Twitter.
There are no further details about the assistance package to Ukraine from the German Ministry of Defense yet.
However, Welt reported that the package would include Leopard tanks, missiles for IRIS-T anti-aircraft missile systems, drones, artillery ammunition, small arms cartridges and spare parts for howitzers and armored vehicles.
Let us remind you that on May 29, Sweden announced a new package of military assistance for Ukraine. The cost of equipment and weapons that will be in this package is $1.3 billion. The Ukrainian Armed Forces will receive two ASC 890 radar reconnaissance and control aircraft, an Rb 99 fighter, Pansarbandvagn 302 tracked armored personnel carriers, 155-mm artillery ammunition and AIM-120 AMRAAM missiles.
