On May 30, a preventive measure in the form of arrest was chosen for the scandalous military man. This time he was taken into custody on suspicion of legalizing property obtained by crime on an especially large scale. The Office of the Prosecutor General reported this on Telegram.
He was informed of suspicion in this case on May 28 right after leaving the pre-trial detention center on preliminary charges.
The court also appointed 140 million UAH. collateral In case of non-payment, Borisov will be held in custody for 60 days.
Let us remind you that Evgeniy Borisov has been sitting in a pre-trial detention center since the summer of 2023. He is suspected under Art. 368-5 (illegal enrichment) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The perpetrator faces up to 10 years in prison with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions.
