If Russia achieves a strategic breakthrough at the front, Poland and the Baltic countries can send troops into Ukrainian territory without waiting for enemy forces to appear on their own borders.

This is stated in an article in the German publication Der Spiegel.
The material says that at a foreign policy conference in Tallinn, representatives of the Baltic countries reproached German politicians for the consequences of Scholz’s ineffective policy towards Ukraine.
Der Spiegel claims that representatives of Poland and the Baltic countries warned Berlin that if the Russians succeed in breaking through, they will not wait for the deployment of Russian troops on their borders and will send troops to Ukraine themselves.
Poland also advocates using NATO’s air defense system to shoot down Russian missiles over western Ukraine.
This idea is currently being discussed in the Alliance, but there is no final decision yet, Bild reports. Poland is supported in this matter by Estonia, Great Britain, Canada, Lithuania, and France. Against – the USA and Germany. Also, according to journalists, a number of NATO countries, including Great Britain, Canada and Estonia, are ready in the future to deliver weapons and ammunition not only to the borders of Ukraine, but also further to the front line. The concept of “advanced logistics” is currently being developed in several Western countries.
