Representatives of the German Ministry of Defense note that there are agreements on arms supplies between Berlin and Kiev, but this is not public.
A confidential agreement on arms supplies exists between Berlin and Kiev. It is not subject to disclosure. This was said by a representative of the German Ministry of Defense, reports the German magazine Spiegel online.
“There is an agreement, but it is not intended for the public, especially in the use of specific combat systems,” he said.
The official reiterated the German leadership’s position that Berlin seeks to avoid involvement in hostilities.
We remind you that Germany has announced a new package of military aid for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. So, Germany, together with Denmark, will provide 10 Leopard 1 A5 main battle tanks, 3 HIMARS MLRS and more. In addition, the German Ministry of Defense has asked the federal government for an additional 3.8 billion euros to help Ukraine for this financial year.
