The full recovery of Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico must wait until the end of the year.

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico is still in serious condition. Aktuality reported this on Sunday, May 26.

The head of the Smer parliamentary club in the parliament, Jan Richter, said that according to preliminary estimates, the prime minister could be fully healthy before the end of the year.

“The extent of the damage is so great that it would be irresponsible to expect a very quick return. We must wait until the end of the year for a full recovery,” he said.

According to Richter, Fico’s full recovery also includes time for rehabilitation.

We remind you that on May 15, 71-year-old Juraj Cintula shot Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico. The assassination attempt took place after the government retreated to the city of Gandlova.

The 59-year-old head of the Slovak government remains under medical supervision.
