Among them is a 12-year-old girl.
As of the evening of May 26, 16 people are known to have died as a result of yesterday’s Russian bomb attack on the Kharkov Epicenter hypermarket. Work to clear the rubble does not stop.
The police also reported that as a result of the strike on the Epicenter, 44 people were injured, of which 14 were women and 30 men.
The whole family of a 20-year-old girl went shopping today where two air bombs landed. The 12-year-old sister and mother no longer answer calls; they have not returned home. The father was with them – now he is in the hospital with a shell shock. This girl returned to the scene of the incident late in the evening. She has already provided DNA samples. We will look for her relatives, unfortunately, among the dead,” said Sergei Bolvinov, head of the investigation department of the Kharkov region police. – Another man is looking for a wife. They worked together in a hypermarket, he was a salesman, and she was a department manager. At eight in the morning we came to work. He miraculously escaped, was closer to the exit of the shopping center at the time of impact and does not have any injuries. And at that moment the wife just went to the toilet and was not seen again. To do a DNA test and find this woman among the burnt victims, we have already taken samples from her mother.
On Sunday, May 26, at approximately 16.00, the Russians struck at least 11 drones at the village of Ivashki in the border Kharkov region, the head of the Zolochiv village military administration, Viktor Kovalenko, told Public Kharkov.
According to him, a 29-year-old man’s legs were cut off: at the moment of the explosion, the wounded man covered the village head with himself, the woman was not injured. The wounds were treated on the spot, and the man refused hospitalization, Kovalenko noted.
