It was noted that, despite the new mobilization law, which lowers the conscription age, labor resources remain a problem. A senior military official said that the average combat age of defenders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is 43-45 years.

According to Pavel Narozhny, who raises funds for Ukrainian fighters, most of the defenders he talks to are 40-45 years old. Under 30 is quite rare.

“The idea that young people should stay away from the battlefield is enshrined in law; until recently, registration was only for those over 27 years old. Recently it was lowered to 25, but the situation has been exacerbated by ineffective enrolling those within the target range in the population displaced by the conflict, many young people cannot be found,” the material said.

We remind you that on May 18 a new mobilization law in Ukraine was implemented. Citizens have 60 days to update data in TCCs, CNAPs and Reserve+.

The mobilization of citizens liable for military service from the age of 25 will make it possible to attract approximately 100 thousand new soldiers to the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
