A Russian UAV crashed in the Kursk region. This is a Russian reconnaissance and attack UAV of Iranian production Mohajer-6. The drone was noticed by local residents who decided to examine it in detail.

In the close-up footage, you can see the drone’s armament, consisting of two adjusted Ghaem-5 aerial bombs.
The drone’s tail number “ER-858” was also included in the video. This alphabetic system of tail numbers indicates that the drone was exported from Iran to Russia, Militarny writes.
It should be noted that the enemy began using Mohajer-6 drones back in 2022, since it did not have its own long-range unmanned aerial systems.
“Military” writes that drones of this type are not used very actively, since their weapons are designed for use from relatively large distances to the target.
Although, first of all, it was created for reconnaissance, surveillance, reconnaissance and fire destruction (carries up to four ammunition).
This is not the first time the Mohajer-6 drone has been lost to Russian air defense and electronic warfare. In June 2023, on the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimean peninsula, fragments of a Mohajer-6 drone were discovered, which fell due to its jamming by electronic warfare equipment.
Mohajer-6 has a maximum take-off weight of 600 kg, a payload of 100 kg and a flight range of 200 km. It has a maximum speed of 200 km/h, a flight duration of 12 hours and a maximum altitude of 5400 m.
The drone’s components are predominantly foreign. The drone has Japanese, Chinese and American cameras and a laser rangefinder. These are predominantly civilian components and are not considered military goods.
