The Pentagon press service reported this.
It is noted that this package became the fifth authorized by US President Joe Biden since the signing of an additional national security law last month.
This presidential package, part of our efforts to help Ukraine fend off the Russian attack near Kharkov, is valued at $275 million. This will provide Ukraine with additional capabilities to meet its most pressing combat needs,” the statement said.
He will provide Ukraine with:
- ammunition for HIMARS;
- artillery rounds of 155 and 105 mm caliber;
- 60mm mortar rounds;
- TOW anti-tank missiles;
- Javelin and AT-4 anti-tank systems;
- precision aircraft munitions;
- small arms and additional small arms ammunition and grenades;
- explosive ammunition;
- anti-armor mines;
- tactical vehicles for evacuation of equipment;
- helmets, body armor and chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear protection equipment;
- spare parts, maintenance and other auxiliary equipment.
The United States will continue to work with the Alliance’s nearly 50 members and partners to ensure Ukraine’s brave defenders have the critical capabilities needed to combat Russian aggression, the Pentagon said.
